  1. 1Log in to your X account and go to Settings and privacy.
  2. 2Select 'Your account', then navigate to 'Your X data'.
  3. 3Review the 'Interests and Ads data' section to see interests X and partners have inferred about you.
  4. 4Review the list of advertisers who have included your account in their tailored audiences.

  2. 2Go to Settings and privacy.
  3. 3Navigate to 'Ads preferences' settings.
  4. 4Disable the 'Personalized ads' setting.

  1. 1Click or tap 'More' in the main navigation menu to the left of your timeline.
  2. 2Select 'Settings and privacy'.
  3. 3Choose 'Your account'.
  4. 4Select 'Download an archive of your data'.
  5. 5Confirm your password, then select 'Request archive'.

Personalization data controls

  1. 1On desktop, visit the Personalization and data settings page at twitter.com/personalization (accessible when logged in or logged out).
  2. 2Alternatively, on the X mobile app, tap your profile photo icon in the upper-left corner.
  3. 3Select 'Settings and privacy', then 'Privacy and safety', then 'Personalization and data'.
  4. 4Use the master toggle at the top of the screen to disable all personalization and data features at once, or adjust individual settings as preferred.

Account deactivation

  1. 1Before deactivating, download your X data archive from Settings > Your account > Download an archive of your data.
  2. 2Navigate to Settings and privacy.
  3. 3Go to 'Your account' and select 'Deactivate your account'.
  4. 4Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deactivation. Your account will be permanently deleted if you do not log back in within 30 days.

  1. 1Log in to your X account at x.com.
  2. 2Click 'More' from the left side menu, then select 'Settings and privacy'.
  3. 3Select 'Privacy and safety' from the center menu.
  4. 4Scroll down to the 'Data sharing and personalization' section and click 'Grok & Third-party Collaborators'.
  5. 5Untick the checkbox next to 'Allow your public data as well as your interactions, inputs, and results with Grok and xAI to be used for training and fine-tuning'.
