Terms of Service Change History
Rythm Health
Right to Opt Out of Arbitration Added
NEW version explicitly states users have a RIGHT TO OPT OUT of the arbitration agreement, which was not mentioned in the OLD version. This is a material improvement to user rights, as it now permits users to pursue claims in court rather than being forced into binding arbitration.
Effective: September 22, 2026
Unilateral Termination Rights Expanded
NEW version adds explicit language that Rythm Health reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user's access for ANY reason at its sole discretion. The OLD version did not include this broad termination provision, significantly expanding the company's ability to terminate accounts without stated cause.
Effective: September 22, 2026
New Assumption of Risk for Self-Collection Blood Testing
NEW version adds detailed acknowledgment that users understand blood collection may cause adverse reactions and injuries including pain, bleeding, bruising, dizziness, fainting, skin injury, burns, allergic reactions, and other serious harm. This significantly expands liability disclaimers and shifts risk entirely to users for injuries from the collection kit and its third-party components.
Effective: September 22, 2026
Minimum Age Requirement Increased from 13 to 18
NEW version raises the minimum age from 13 years old to 18 years old, and completely removes the provisions allowing minors to use the service with parental consent. This substantially restricts who can access the Services and eliminates the parental consent pathway entirely.
Effective: September 22, 2026
New Rythm App Definition with AI and Healthcare Disclaimers
NEW version introduces a formal definition of the Rythm App (mobile application with AI technology) and explicitly disclaims that it cannot provide healthcare advice or diagnose/treat/prevent diseases. This represents a significant new feature or expansion of services with associated liability limitations not present in the OLD version.
Effective: September 22, 2026
