  1. 1To opt out of email marketing, click the 'unsubscribe' link found at the bottom of any promotional email from OfficeHours.
  2. 2To opt out of SMS/text message marketing, reply STOP to any text message received from OfficeHours, or contact support@officehours.com.
  3. 3To update notification preferences more broadly, log into your OfficeHours account and navigate to account settings to adjust notification preferences.
  4. 4For additional requests, contact OfficeHours directly via email at support@officehours.com.

Nevada privacy opt out

  1. 1If you are a Nevada resident, contact OfficeHours via email at support@officehours.com to submit a request to opt out of the sale of your personal information under Nevada law.
  2. 2Identify yourself as a Nevada resident in your request and clearly state that you are opting out of the sale of your personal information.

Social network data sharing control

  1. 1Log into each social media platform you use (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and navigate to their privacy or security settings.
  2. 2Restrict the permissions that third-party apps and websites (including OfficeHours) can access about your profile and activity.
  3. 3Review which apps are connected to your social media account and revoke access for OfficeHours if you no longer want data shared.
  4. 4Avoid using social media 'Like,' 'Share,' or 'Follow' buttons on the OfficeHours platform if you want to minimize data shared with OfficeHours through social networks.

  1. 1To submit a California privacy rights request (access, deletion, correction, or opt-out of sale/sharing), contact OfficeHours via email at support@officehours.com.
  2. 2Identify yourself as a California resident and specify which right(s) you are exercising (right to know, right to delete, right to correct, or opt-out of sale/sharing).
  3. 3OfficeHours may require identity verification before fulfilling your request. Be prepared to provide information to verify your identity.
  4. 4OfficeHours is required to respond to verifiable requests within 45 days under CCPA.

Targeted advertising opt out

  1. 1Visit the Google Ads Settings/Preferences Manager (ads.google.com/settings) to opt out of interest-based advertising from Google.
  2. 2Visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ to opt out of interest-based advertising from multiple NAI member companies at once.
  3. 3Use your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension to block or delete targeting cookies set by OfficeHours' advertising partners (including onetrust.com, cookielaw.org, and bookofficehours.com).

  1. 1OfficeHours records and transcribes consultation sessions between Clients and Experts, and may use this content for analysis, service improvement, and commercial purposes. Both Clients and Experts may also use and distribute transcripts for their own commercial purposes. Users should be aware that any information shared in a consultation session may be retained and analyzed by OfficeHours.

  1. 1Visit the Google Analytics opt-out page at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
