Data deletion request

  1. 1Prepare your request specifying which personal data you want deleted or accessed (e.g., account information, workspace content, or analytics data).
  2. 2Email Notion's privacy team at privacy@makenotion.com with your data subject request, including your account email address and details of the request.
  3. 3Await confirmation from Notion; they will process the request in accordance with applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Mobile location opt out

  1. 1On an iPhone or iPad, go to the iOS Settings app, scroll down to find Notion, tap it, then tap 'Location' and select 'Never'.
  2. 2On an Android device, go to Settings, then Apps, find and tap Notion, tap 'Permissions', then tap 'Location' and select 'Deny'.

Third party connection revocation

  1. 1Log in to your Notion account.
  2. 2Go to Settings, then navigate to 'Connections' or 'My connections'.
  3. 3Find the third-party integration you want to disconnect (e.g., Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack).
  4. 4Click 'Disconnect' or 'Remove' to revoke the connection.
  5. 5Additionally, review and revoke Notion's access in the third-party service's own settings (e.g., in your Google Account's connected apps page).

Subprocessor notification subscription

  1. 1Send an email to team@makenotion.com with the subject line 'Subscribe to New Subprocessors'.
  2. 2Once subscribed, Notion will notify you before any new subprocessor is authorized to process your customer data.

Workspace deletion

  1. 1Log in to Notion as the workspace owner.
  2. 2Go to Settings, then select your workspace from the sidebar.
  3. 3Navigate to the 'Settings' tab within workspace settings.
  4. 4Scroll to the danger zone and select 'Delete workspace'.
  5. 5Follow the confirmation prompts. The workspace data can be restored within 30 days; after 30 days it is permanently and unrecoverably deleted.

Account deletion

  1. 1Log in to your Notion account.
  2. 2Go to your account Settings (click your name or avatar in the sidebar, then select 'Settings').
  3. 3Navigate to the 'My account' section.
  4. 4Scroll to the danger zone area and select 'Delete my account'.
  5. 5Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and associated personal data will be fully deleted from Notion's servers within 30 days.
