Matched identifier marketing opt out

  1. 1Sign in to your Netflix account in a compatible web browser.
  2. 2Go to the Account page.
  3. 3Select the appropriate profile.
  4. 4Open the 'Privacy and data settings' menu.
  5. 5Change the 'Matched Identifier Communications' setting to opt out.

  1. 1Visit netflix.com/dnsspi or click the 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' link in the Netflix website footer.
  2. 2Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your opt-out request.

  2. 2Go to netflix.com/account/getmyinfo.
  3. 3Submit a request for a copy of your personal information.
  4. 4If you are not an account holder, email privacy@netflix.com to request your information.

  3. 3Select the profile you want to update.
  4. 4Open the 'Privacy and data settings' menu.
  5. 5Change the 'Behavioral Advertising' setting to opt out.

  1. 1On your mobile, tablet, or streaming device, open the device Settings.
  2. 2Navigate to Privacy or Ads settings (location varies by device).
  3. 3Choose to reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at the device level.

Sms marketing opt out

  1. 1From a web browser, go to your Account page.
  2. 2Select Security, then Mobile phone.
  3. 3Select 'Delete Phone Number' to remove your phone number and stop all SMS messages.

Viewing history deletion

  1. 1From a web browser, go to your Account page.
  2. 2Select Profiles, then choose the relevant profile.
  3. 3Open Viewing Activity.
  4. 4To hide a single title, click the hide icon next to that title.
  5. 5To hide your entire viewing history, select the 'Hide all' option at the bottom of the page and confirm.
