Recommended Actions
Data processing restriction
- 1Email support@mergify.com requesting restriction of processing of your personal data, specifying the grounds for your request (e.g. data accuracy dispute, unlawful processing, etc.).
- 2Include proof of identity with your request.
- 3Await Mergify's response within one month confirming the restriction has been applied.
Data portability request
- 1Email support@mergify.com requesting a copy of your personal data in a portable format, citing your right to data portability under GDPR.
- 2Include proof of identity with your request.
- 3Await Mergify's response within one month providing the data export.
Data subject rights request
- 1Prepare an email to support@mergify.com requesting the specific right you wish to exercise (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or objection).
- 2Include proof of identity with your request.
- 3Send the email and await Mergify's response, which they are legally obligated to provide within one month.
- 4If Mergify fails to respond or you are unsatisfied, file a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) online or by post.
Marketing contact opt out
- 1Contact Mergify at support@mergify.com stating that you withdraw your agreement for your contact details to be used for marketing purposes.
- 2Await confirmation that your marketing preferences have been updated.
Subprocessor change notification
- 1Send an email or open a support ticket at support@mergify.com requesting to be notified of subprocessor changes.
- 2Review the current list of subprocessors at https://trust.mergify.com/subprocessors to understand who currently processes your data.
Github oauth token revocation
- 1Sign in to your GitHub account.
- 2Go to your GitHub account Settings.
- 3Navigate to 'Applications' or 'Authorized OAuth Apps'.
- 4Locate Mergify in the list of authorized apps.
- 5Click 'Revoke' to remove Mergify's authorization and invalidate its stored OAuth token.
Regulatory complaint
- 1First attempt to resolve the issue directly with Mergify by emailing support@mergify.com.
- 2If the issue is unresolved, go to the CNIL website at https://www.cnil.fr to file a complaint online, or contact them by post.
- 3Provide details of your complaint and any correspondence with Mergify as evidence.
