Account closure

  1. 1Ensure all funds have been removed from your account before proceeding.
  2. 2On the Kraken web interface, click on your Account icon in the top right corner and then click on Settings.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom and click 'Close account'. Review the important information shown and click Continue if you agree.
  4. 4Select the reason(s) why you are closing your Kraken account, then click Continue.
  5. 5Click 'Yes, close my account' to confirm closure and be logged out of all devices.

Marketing communications opt out

  1. 1Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email received from Kraken, or log in to your Kraken account and navigate to notification or communication preferences in Settings.
  2. 2Disable or opt out of direct marketing communications.
  3. 3Alternatively, contact Kraken via the support contact form to request removal from marketing lists.

Data deletion request

  1. 1Navigate to the Kraken support contact form at support.kraken.com/forms/64800
  2. 2Submit a data deletion request specifying what personal data you want deleted, removed, blocked, or anonymised.
  3. 3Await Kraken's response — they will process the request subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

Data access portability request

  1. 1Go to the Kraken support contact form at support.kraken.com/forms/64800
  2. 2Submit a data access or portability request, specifying that you would like to receive a copy of all personal information Kraken holds about you.
  3. 3Await Kraken's response providing the requested personal data.

  1. 1Visit kraken.com/legal/cookies or click 'Cookie Settings' in the footer of any Kraken web page.
  2. 2Adjust your preferences to disable advertising/tracking cookies to exercise Do Not Share rights.
  3. 3Alternatively, submit a Do Not Share request directly via Kraken's contact form at support.kraken.com/forms/648008.

  2. 2Submit a written objection to automated decision-making and profiling, specifying the processing activities you are objecting to.
  3. 3Be aware that exercising this right may result in loss of access to some or all Kraken services.

  1. 1Go to the Kraken website and click 'Cookie Settings' in the pop-up banner or in the footer of the website.
  2. 2In the Cookie Consent Manager, choose to disable the Performance, Functional, and/or Advertising cookie categories as desired.
