Icloud advanced data protection

  1. 1Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. 2Tap your name at the top, then tap iCloud.
  3. 3Tap Advanced Data Protection.
  4. 4Tap Turn On Advanced Data Protection and follow the on-screen steps, including setting up an account recovery method.

Location services opt out

  1. 1Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. 2Tap Privacy & Security, then select Location Services.
  3. 3To disable location for all apps, toggle Location Services off at the top.
  4. 4To restrict a specific app, tap the app name and choose Never or While Using the App.
  5. 5To disable precise location for an app, tap the app and turn off Precise Location.
