Alexa voice history deletion and ai training opt out
- 1Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
- 2Tap 'More' and then tap 'Settings'.
- 3Select 'Alexa Privacy'.
- 4Tap 'Manage Your Alexa Data' to review and delete voice recordings and text transcripts.
- 5In the 'Help Improve Alexa' section, tap the toggle to opt out of 'Use voice recordings' and 'Use messages to improve transcriptions'.
Amazon device usage data opt out
- 1On a Fire TV device, go to Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings > Device Usage Data and turn off the toggle to opt out.
- 2On a Fire tablet, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Device Usage Data and turn off the toggle to opt out.
- 3On a Kindle e-reader, go to All Settings > Device Options > Advanced Options > Privacy and turn off the toggle to opt out.
- 4Alternatively, for supported devices, visit amazon.com/mycd, select Privacy Settings, then Amazon Devices Privacy to manage these settings from your Amazon account.
Consumer health data privacy opt out
- 1Navigate to amazon.com/privacyprefs (Your Ads Privacy Choices) linked in the Amazon website footer.
- 2Sign in to your Amazon account if prompted.
- 3Review and submit your opt-out choices for cross-context behavioral advertising, including any consumer health data-related advertising.
Amazon device interest based ads opt out
- 1On a Fire TV device, go to Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings > Interest-based Ads and disable the setting.
- 2On a Fire tablet, go to Settings > Apps & Games > Advertising ID > Interest-based Ads and disable the setting.
Amazon device app usage data opt out
- 1On a Fire TV device, go to Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings > Collect App Usage Data and turn off the toggle.
- 2On a Fire tablet, go to Settings > Apps & Games > Collect App Usage Data and turn off the toggle.
